

Leslie Glaeser, age 86 of Taylor,Texas, passed away Friday April 22, 2011 in Granger, Texas. He was born on April 21,1925 in Industry, Texas to Ernest and Ida Glaeser. Leslie was raised in the central Texas area. Leslie served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater of World War II. He was an aviation metal smith and attained the rank of Third Class Petty Officer. After the war, Leslie was stationed at the Navel Air Station in St. Louis, Missouri. He met and married Juanita F. Jones of St. Louis, Missouri. They later returned to Taylor Texas and had 3 children, Jerry, Glenda, and Jenny.
Leslie is survived by his wife Juanita Jones Glaeser of Taylor, son Jerry & daughter in law Tracie Glaeser of Lake Dallas, Texas, daughter Glenda and son in law Lenard Roeglin of Taylor, daughter Jenny and son in law Larry Jones of Santa Fe, Texas, sister Pearlie Fredrick of Taylor, 11 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Ernest & Ida Glaeser, brothers Edgar & Eldie Glaeser and sister Mundina Eichler.
There will be a visitation held from 6 to 8pm on Monday, April 25th at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor, Tx.. Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylor, Texas with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas.
