Marion Willene Hinze

Marion (Memaw) was a woman of strong faith who believed deeply in the Lord and trusted His guidance throughout her life. She was the heart and glue of her family, always bringing everyone together with love, strength, and unwavering devotion.

She found joy in the simple blessings of life—fishing, gardening, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort, where everyone always felt welcome.

Marion (Memaw) was preceded in death by her mother and father; beloved husband, Cotton Hinze; her daughter, Jannie Riggan; a grandson; and five siblings.

She is survived by her siblings, Bob Johnson, Mollie McBride, and Roger Johnson; her children, Butch Riggan (spouse, Paula) and Connie Knoll; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy of faith, love, and family will live on through all who were blessed to know her.

Marion (Memaw) will be deeply missed, but her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and resting in the arms of the Lord.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Holland Cemetery.
