Milton Harry Kerlin, 85, of Hare passed away on April 27, 2012 in The Lighthouse at Altenheim, a hospice facility in Round Rock, Texas. He was born to Leonard and Beatrice (Schwarz) Kerlin in Thorndale on April 20, 1927.
Milton attended school in Thrall and later served in the Marines. He married Laverne Simcik on March 20, 1949 in Taylor, Texas. He was a retired farmer and rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by sisters, Delores Locklin and Merilyn Stevens; son, David and wife Diana of Granger; son, Kenneth of Hare; granddaughter Rachael Strmiska and husband Eric; granddaughter Tiffany Michalik and husband Daniel; grandson, David M. Kerlin; grandson, Christian P. Kerlin; and great-grandson Brody Michalik.
Visitation was held Monday, April 30, 2012 at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday May 1, 2012 at 10:00 am at Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
