Norma Sue Bledsoe, since her late 30's, with God's help and through the structure of AA, became commited to a life of transformation. It was not unusual to see people in need sleeping on her couch. She also encouraged young people to go to school and to grow beyond what they believed they could do.
In the mid 80's she opened a plant store business out from her home drive way and grew it into a store front establishment, with little credit and capital. For a few years she sold antique jewelry. Later in life she returned to selling plants out of a green house. Intermittently thoughout the years she also learned to paint in acrylics.
Sue has left us now to join her husband, Sam Bledsoe, and is survived by her daughter, Laura Li Imel and her son Richard Carlton Pope, 8 grand children, and 13 great grand children.
Memorial service were held May 5th, 3:00 pm, at the Church of Christ in Holland TX
