He went to work at an early age building terraces, fencing, working cattle, and moving houses. He traveled all over working odd jobs and in 1964 he started Kruse roofing Company. He retired in 1995 but his work was always something he was proud of. He could look at something and the go design it , build it, or show someone how to do it.
Robert is survived by his wife, Beatrice Kruse; his children, Darryl Kruse and wife Bea, Roland Kruse and wife Janie, Rodney Kruse, and Debbie Kruse; his 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 6pm- 8pm at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 19, 2017 at 2pm at Condra Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
