Bill Cheek, age 73, of Tazewell, Tn was born July 29, 1943 and passed away March 10, 2017 at UTMedical Center in Knoxville, Tn. Bill served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era. He retired from Powell valley Electric several years ago. He loved sports, fishing, horse racing and coon hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Evelyn Cheek and sister-in-law, Sandra Cheek. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cheryl Cheek;daughter, Holly Cheek both of Tazewell, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Leslie Cheek all of New Tazewell, Tn; sister, Barbara Cheek of Jacksonville, Fl.; brother, Wayne Cheek of Jonesville, VA; nephew, Marcus and Lisa Cheek of Jonesville, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.
