Doris Linda Goins

Doris Linda Goins, age 74 originally of Tazewell TN, was born January 3, 1943 and passed away on September 25, 2017. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and devoted servant of the Lord. She was a wonderful cook and she shared this gift with everyone she knew. Doris joyfully worshipped at Fairview Baptist Church of Knoxville, TN and previously at Dogwood Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Alice Clark. Her husband of fifty three years Troy Goins and sister Jewell Thomas.

She is survived by her children Susan (Otis) Singleton of Tazewell; Lori (Billy) Ridings; Lisa (Scott) Ogle and Vickie (Michael) Allison all of Knoxville

Grandchildren: Tanya (Jimmy) Knuckles, Jamie (Randi) Singleton, Ashleigh (James) Waddell, Brittney (Chad) Bowles, Alexandra, Bryce and Anna Ogle and Spencer Allison.

Great grandkids: Madison and Mackenzie Knuckles, Payten Singleton, Parker, Brody and Caroline Waddell

As well as a host of other family and friends. She will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Tuesday September 26, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Moody Cemetery.
