Tommy Hoskins

Tommy Hoskins, age 82, of New Tazewell TN, was born April 30, 1937 and passed away on April 6, 2020. Tommy was a proud member of the US Army where he obtained the rank of SFC. While in the army he obtained a bronze star and was the recipient of a purple heart. Tommy was an exceptional guitar player and enjoyed doing anything outside, like hunting and fishing. Tommy always had a story or a joke to tell, he was someone who befriended everyone he met and was always willing to help his neighbors. He was a devoted family man and loved them all dearly. Tommy was a member of Seals Branch Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and America Hoskins, brothers Owen Hoskins and Odell Hoskins, sisters Calvie Jean Williams and Hazel Sue Root, infant siblings Orville, Edna, and Frances, and nephew Tommy Hoskins. Tommy is survived by his children Connie (Robert) Mitchell, Randall (Holly) Hoskins, Russell (Susan) Hoskins. Grandchildren Elizabeth, Rebecca, Makayla, Hunter, Cody, Emily, Nathan. Great grandson Trenton. Mother of his children Sue Edens. Nephews Donnie and Danny. Nieces Pat, Barbara and Melissa. Special friend Rhonda Townsley. As well as other family and many close friends.

Due to safety concerns caused by the current pandemic a graveside service, with military honors, will be held at Irish Memorial Gardens at a later date.
