

Chuck was a man of deep faith, passion, and unwavering commitment to the things he believed in. He lived his life with intensity and purpose, always fully immersed in whatever he set his mind to. His greatest devotion was to his faith in Jesus Christ, which shaped the way he lived, loved, and led his family. He was known for his creativity, his larger-than-life projects, and his desire to share his faith with others—especially his children and grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Enid and Merv Barrow.
He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Barrow (Levi Jones) and Elizabeth “Libby” Barrow (Seth Jennings); his brother, Howard Barrow (Nancy); and his beloved grandchildren, Eve, Layla, Esme, Eli, and Jude. He is also survived by his former wife, Marisa Strauss (Darrell), and cherished his close relationship with the entire Sorbera family; his wife, Sara Barrow, and their beloved dog, Redford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at Tampa Covenant Church, 13320 Lake Magdalene Blvd, Tampa, FL 33618, on April 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
A Committal Service will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, on April 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tampa Covenant Church in honor of Chuck’s life and faith.
Chuck’s life will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude by all who had the privilege to know him. His legacy of faith and love will continue through his family for generations to come.
