Donora Murry

Donora Margaret McTeague Murry passed quietly into God’s hands Monday, November 29 at an age she would kill me if I told. She was surrounded by her loving son Charles , family and friends. Donora was preceded in death by her father, Edmund McTeague, and life partner Joey Everhardt. Donora is survived by her son Charles, her mother Yvonne McTeague; sisters Sandra, Linda, Heather and Debbie; brothers Edmund (Butch), Michael, and Kevin; nieces Melonie (Sissy), Natasha, and Cassie; nephews Jonathan, Michael, Jason, Billy, David Palmer, David McTeague, many great nephews and nieces and too many adopted family members and fur babies to name.

Donora was employed at University Community Hospital for over 30 years. During those 30+ years she developed many close, personal relationships that have remained with her through the years. Donora was a fierce advocate for what she believed in and fought for those she cared about and who were unable to fight for themselves. She opened her heart and her home to children, animals and anyone needing a helping hand or a safe haven.

Donora was a caring, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to everyone she encountered. Her presence will be with all who knew her and she will always remain in our hearts.

A celebration of Donora’s life will take place December 18, 2021 at 2:00p at Blount & Curry Funeral home 12690 North 56th Street Tampa, Florida. Anyone who would like to write a tribute to Donora or speak is invited to do so.
