Kristofer Andrew Knapp was born on October 3, 1987, the first grandson on both sides of his Knapp/Hayes family. He faced an uphill battle at an early age undergoing open heart surgery to repair his heart defect when he was 13 months old. His childhood was filled with lasting friendships, his love for music and movies and his large family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristofer loved parties, mainly the food and music and making others smile with his contagious laugh.
He was a member of the Naval ROTC program and studied Commercial Arts under the tutelage of instructors at Tampa Bay Technical High School and graduated in 2006. His favorite pastime was attending Heavy Metal and Classic Rock concerts creating an extensive collection of (black) concert T-shirts, vinyl records and CD’s.
Kristofer prided himself in being an independent homeowner at a young age and in his career as a Customer Service Representative at Publix Super Markets. He loved his two dogs, Earl and Rebel and was a dedicated Dog Dad.
He was a member at the Temple Terrace Church of Christ where he was baptized and had many friends he cherished there.
Kristofer had open heart surgery in June 2019 and was recovering at home with his dogs when he passed peacefully on January 28, 2021.
