Everyone  Loved Maxine, everytime our family visited  Florida, Maxine went out of her way to make all of us Very Welcome! She  always had food ready and a LOT of ❤️.  We all loved her and Tom so much!

Sorry to hear about your Mom.  💯 Years is a long good life.  Sending condolences to the family. My Mom & Dad were Betty & Bob VanHorn (cousin) to your Dad my Dad has passed away but my Mom is still alive & will be 100 in March. I remember your family when you came to visit  your Uncle Ralph & Aunt Katherine in Dayton , Ohio.  Again thinking of you at this time.

I have many treasured memories with Nana. It’s hard to pick the best one. I remember when Shara and I were little, we used to put on our best sparkly costume to do a little dance for her, I hope we made her proud. I remember watching mystery shows on television with her whenever I would stay the night, she really loved those. I remember holiday dinners at her house (always the best) and her crystal candy dish! I remember how she loved to see all her great grandchildren and she would reach for her purse to give them all money. 
Nia and Jhai wanted both of you to remember the time Nana was waiting for the deer to show up outside her window but they didn’t. So Nia and Jhai pretended to be the deer, jumped over the fence, and greeted her at her window. The laugh she gave out was truly a  good one, I know she thought that was one of the funniest and cutest things ever.  
Nana was one of a kind, we all miss her, and she will forever be a part of us. We love you and we are thinking of you.

Maxine was very special to all who knew her.  I have  no doubt that her loving relationships with family contributed to her long life.  She will be missed but leaves many beautiful memories.

We loved our Aunt Mac , she was the sweetest 
Kindest Aunt.  We had so much fun during all her years. We loved the early fish fries, Christmas, Easters. In later years, we had many fun lunches at her house with Tommy and all my sisters.  Many laughs and old memories of our aunts and uncles who had left us way to early. 

We have Tommy, Sandy,
Johnny, Sharon and all the family in our thoughts and  Prayers today.  Thanks for being so wonderful to us Aunt Mac! A beautiful Lady!

Wow.  Blessed with 100 years of love, kindness, warmth, and generosity - which are just a few words that come to my mind in terms of my memories of Maxine.  I have many childhood memories of time spent visiting the Tampa area with Clint and Helen, Tom and Maxine, and the kids.  And then later on during fishing trips down at the Weston in Sarasota.  Always warm, welcoming, and loving - a truly unique and beautiful spirit.  Tom and Maxine were very  blessed to have each other, and to have raised a wonderful family together.  I’m sorry there is so much distance between us.  I often wonder why Mom Renner didn’t move to Florida when Helen and Walter moved there.  All our prayers and thoughts with all of you during this very difficult time.  May the Good Lord bless all of you, and Maxine.  David and Diana Renner, Lebanon, Ohio

When I was young, Tom and Maxine kept my Hobbiecat sailboat in their back yard.  I would fly down from Cincinnati, sometimes bringing their granddaughter from Springfield with me.  Maxine would have lunch for me, have her son Tommy pack a cooler and hook my boat on his car, and I would go to the beach for a week. When I returned, Maxine would have Tommy clean his car and help put away my boat, while she served me lunch and washed my clothes.  I asked Tommy if he was ever upset that he had to clean his car after I used it for a week. He said “No, Mom wouldn’t have it any other way.”  Years later, when I was married and my sailboat was history, I would bring my wife and kids down to Englewood, always stopping by to see Tom and Maxine. Often with little notice, she would have a great meal ready for us, always making us feel welcome.  She is one of the kindest and most loving people I have ever known, and my wife and kids and I will love her forever.
