Remembering the times I visited CA and spend time with Phillip & Gayle.

I'll never forget the road trip to California my Dad took us on, we stayed with Uncle Phil and Gayle. That Saturday night they brought all four of us kids (I was 11) to Tijuana. OMG.

We met Phil and Gayle our first year living in Venice. Loved hearing about the amazing cruises they took all over the world. Phil knew I’d love to cruise, as we have never been on a cruise. Phil was relentless and determined to get us to book a cruise. He put us on a mailing list for their favorite cruise line. Gayle and Phil sent us many pics of their travels. We also enjoyed dining with them at various restaurants…Italian of course! Phil also whipped up several yummy dinners at home and we thoroughly enjoyed them and their stories about cruising and other topics. When I visualize Phil’s face, the first thing I see is his mischievous twinkle in his eyes. Phil’s eyes were the path to his soul…a fun, mischievous, honest, smart, loving, caring man. The way he would look at Gayle when she wasn’t looking displayed the extreme love and admiration he had for her. I regret we didn’t see them more often…life gets so crazy. Gayle you have hundreds of amazing memories and pictures to help you through this sad time. All who knew Phil were blessed. Fly high Phil…you will be missed by so many. God bless you Gayle. He was s great buddy I remember  many nights going to Los Ponchos  resturant  an  Phil an I would order of three smothered burritos  , an we also visited  a Mexican restaurant   near 42nd an Navajo the original mexican food

My mind is flooded with so many memories of Phil in the 50+ years I have known him.   We both graduated from North Denver High School in 1967.   
     Our first Hawaii trip with Prudential's top agents was so much fun with Phil.  And he always shared his travels cruising  around the world with Gayle.  
We will forever regret that we did not get to take that cruise to Australia together, due to Co-vid.

I will always remember Phil as he drove down SN on his bike while listening to oldies.  Sometimes he would stop and we would chat for a bit before he again drove off listening to “doo woop”.

Phil used to come out and stay with me for a week in the summer.  He would get up before me in the morning and make his coffee. He was pretty fussy about his coffee. We visited his aunts and cousins and one of the favorite things we both like to do was bike. Here’s a picture of us at Washington Park. I was a pretty good biker, but sometimes I had trouble keeping up with him.  Rest in peace, Phil.

Phil and I were the best salesman potential ever had when we work together nobody avoided us selling him something he will be missed very close friend that was supposed to say Prudential insurance

Phillip, we were the closest in age among the 10 of us. I always looked to you to help with the questions I couldn't figure out for myself. My older brother. Even though there were 7 other older brothers and sisters older than us. Thank you for being there. Your youngest sister Kathleen.

Gayle,  I hope the memories of Phil will bring you comfort during this difficult time.  He was a wonderful guy, and I am sure will be deeply missed.  You guys shared some wonderful memories, and all your travels.  I remember our visit with you guys in San Diego, you and Phil showed us a fun time.  
I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now but I want you to know that I’m here for you.

Phill's dentist here. Wanted to chime in and share a funny memory we shared. I know he is passed and therefore I've been thinking about him since the news. The staff is devastated as well.
Recently I met him after hours before his journey began at Moffitt. We made some adjustments so that he would be set to eat what he wanted comfortably, while going through treatment. He then left the office and quickly came back in to have me make another adjustment. This process repeated itself 4 more times. Each time he would go to his truck and then quickly return. We had a good laugh and the final time I told him I'm locking the door. 
This experience we shared illustrated a man with high standards yet still carrying a good sense of humor.
Rest in peach Phill, I will remember that encounter for the rest of my life. <3

Some of my earliest memories are of being at Grandma Pullano's and being teased to tears whenever these two, my brother Lee and cousin Phil, got together.  Later, like everyone who knew them, I lived vicariously through Phil and Gayle's travel stories and photos. Denise and I were fortunate to have been able to meet up with them in San Diego and Florida. I'll always remember my last conversation with him and I regret not having more of them over the years. The other night I said a toast to Phil over some spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. I think he would have approved.

Oh, Gayle, you know I’m so sorry for your loss. You and Phil were meant to be together! I loved watching your adventures and I always looked forward to receiving your holiday cards. You know, Phil is probably one of the few family members that always remembered my birthday!  I still have the CD he made of the Italian music, too! As you know, we share similar ideals and beliefs about life and stuff. I am going to miss his FB posts about He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Phil’s posts not only made me laugh, they gave me hope that other people could see the truth. I’m really going to miss his presence and his insights.

Over the years I have watched your adventures with Gayle and have loved the way you loved her over the past 35 years I was lucky enough to have known you. 

I want to express my condolences from myself and my family .

Phil’s dry humor will be missed! He never really understood why we choose to live in Minnesota …but always sent a open invitation to visit the warm climates, I always thought he was to good looking for this family and I will be forever grateful for his love of my sister❤️

Phillip always made me laugh. For some unknown reason, he got the idea that I was an RV enthusiast , which I am not, hahaha. He would , regularly , send me pictures of RVs, old ones, new ones, fancy ones, trashy ones, hahahahaha, always with an invitation to come visit! We'll truly miss him!
