Born on November 4, 1941, Rosa was a woman of remarkable resilience, patience, and generosity. She dedicated her life to caring for others and found her greatest joy in her family. Through life's challenges and triumphs, she remained steadfast in her love and commitment to those around her.
Rosa worked as a Medical Secretary for many years, but her greatest accomplishment and source of pride was her family. As a devoted single mother, she worked tirelessly, often holding multiple jobs at a time, to provide for her children and ensure they had every whatever they may need. She is survived by her loving children, Paul Corbin and Diana Causey, and by her grandchildren, Chloe Morgan, Juliana Corbin, Stephen Causey, and Lauren Causey, all of whom brought her immense joy and held a special place in her heart.
Those who knew Rosa will remember her generous spirit and the many ways she expressed her love through caring for others. She especially enjoyed baking and became known among family, friends, and coworkers for the homemade treats she shared each year. Her chess cakes and Christmas crack candy became beloved traditions that many looked forward to, and giving them away brought her as much joy as making them.
Rosa's legacy is one of selflessness, perseverance, and unconditional love. Her quiet sacrifices and unwavering devotion helped shape the lives of those she loved most. While her family will deeply miss her presence, they will carry forward the values she instilled and the memories she created.
In accordance with Rosa's wishes, there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. She asked that her ashes be scattered at the beach, allowing her spirit to experience the beauty and places she never had the opportunity to see during her lifetime.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lives she shaped, the love she gave so freely, and the memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
To know Rosa was to know a woman who gave everything she had to the people she loved. Her life was a testament to the power of a mother's love, sacrifice, and quiet strength.
