Sarita Soogie Lall Dass, age 79, passed from this life on July 26, 2019. Sarita was the most loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family. She also had a passion for helping people and touched so many lives with her advice and encouragement that strangers became like family. She was an amazing cook and anyone and everyone was welcomed at her home.
Sarita is survived by her six children and their spouses, Michael & Tulsati, Bobby & Asha, Vidia & Jai, Val & Sally, Phillip and Candy; her eight grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy & Eddie Cifuentes, Varisa Lall Dass, Vadin & Mary Lall Dass, Johann & Emily Ramkissoon, Vana & Anthony Nguyen, Michael Jr. & Hana Lall Dass, Christopher Lall Dass and Christian Lall Dass; and eight great grandchildren, Mikel, Nico and Rose Sarita Cifuentes, Louis and Lucas Lall Dass, Cora Mae Ramkissoon, and Kaden and Ashton Lall Dass. Sarita is also survived by her bother Pooran Khemkaran, sister Armin Seeraj and numerous nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her sister Eleanor Gunness.
Hindu services and cremation will be on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at the Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Funeral Home, Temple Terrace, Florida 33617.
