Glenda Jo (Wigginton) Foster age 79, of Temple, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 9th, after a brief illness. She was born in Temple, Texas on November 25,1938 to Rosa Vera Richards and James Orville Wigginton. Born and raised in Temple, Texas, she married her high school sweetheart, Neal Foster of Rogers, Texas. They were the proud parents of Phillip Neal Foster and Sabra Ellen (Foster) Young. Neal passed away unexpectedly in 1961, and Glenda went to work at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas as a desk clerk in the clinic for over 31 years. She provided for her young family and never remarried. Glenda spent her life in the service of others. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many volunteer positions in the Church throughout her life. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Foster; father, James Orville Wigginton; and mother, Rosa Vera (Richards) Wigginton. She is survived by her brother, Charles Wigginton and his wife, Lanette; son, Phillip and his wife Gretchen; daughter, Sabra; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 14th, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Temple, Texas (3909 Ermine Trail).
