Margaret Waltz Remick

She was born in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina on July 13, 1938 to Mr. Augustus Arthur Waltz, Sr. and Margaret Ann White Waltz. She was a graduate of L. Mendell Rivers High School, Charleston, SC and attended Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Lawarence Elbridge Remick, Jr, of Temple, Texas, her three children, Sheryl J. Remick, of Killeen, Texas, Christina Anne Remick Chapman (Kenneth) of New Braunfels, Texas, her son Lawrence Elbridge Remick, Ill of Killeen, Texas, four grandchildren Amanda Martel (Michael) of Sammamish, Washington, Holly Kubej (Jon-Henry) of Buckley, Washington, Brandon Chapman (Michaela) of Lebanon, Tennessee, Bradley Chapman of College Station, Texas and six great grandchildren (Aubrey, Jace, Jaxon, Jett, Taylor and Wyatt).

Mrs. Remick was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus Arthur Waltz, Sr and Margaret White Waltz, her beloved sister Mrs. Vivian Martin Carlisle, her brothers Augustus Arthur Waltz Jr., Ralph Just Waltz, Harold L. Waltz, and her great-grandson, Noah Thomas Martel.

A funeral service will be at noon on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in the chapel of Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
