Peggy Lorraine Capell, 65, of Temple passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 in Temple. Graveside services for Mrs. Capell will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Greathouse Cemetery in Temple with Pastor H.K. Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Greathouse Cemetery.
Peggy was born on October 1, 1949 in Crawford, Tx. to Dexter and Eva Reece Allen. She attended school in Austin at the Texas School for the Deaf. She married Jerry Capell on Valentines Day, 1971 in Waco, Texas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making and sharing her crafts, especially her paintings. She was a Baptist.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ellen. She is survived by her husband, Jerry, sons Joe and Michael Capell, daughters Wendy Capell and Mindy Pina, brothers Wade and Billy McCarthy, as well as six grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
