

Roger retired from the U.S. Army as a CW2 after twenty three years of service. He served in the Viet Nam War, Desert Shield, and served many tours in Germany, and was presented many medals including the Kuwait Liberation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, 2 Bronze Stars, 1 Silver Star.
After retirement from the Army he taught auto mechanics to the inmates at the Hughes Unit for CTC. He owned and operated ROLIN Automotive.
Some of Rogers passions were restoring cars, flying his remote control airplanes and spending time with his wife Linda.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Cantrell Miller Jr., grandfather, John Spurlock and grandmother, Alberta Spurlock. He is survived by his loving wife Linda and Mother, Helen Summers of Florida; Brother, Cantrell Miller III of WV.; Sister, Sarah Pacheco of Utah; Sons, Roger Miller Jr. of Nolanville, Chris Miller of Pittsville WI., Dan Brothers, of Copperas Cove, Paul McMasters of Gatesville, and John McMasters Perth Australia. And he is survived by twelve grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, Texas with Gary Desalvo officiating. Inurnment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to be made to Temple Bible Church Mission Fund, or your local animal shelter.
