I'm her first born child and I just found out that she died over a month ago. My daughter just found out from facebook and was the one to tell me. She is devastated.

Wife, Partner, Friend...
I know Heaven is shinning brighter since you arrived. You are my guiding light. The beacon to show me the way. The fire that burned away my gloom.
Together we were near perfect. We thought of ourselves as yin & yang and it is a accurate way to describe us, "how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another".
So says Wiki.
Until the day arrives when I can hold you in my arms again, know I will be holding you in my heart
I LOVE YOU BABY BEAR! XOXOXO

Robert
I only met Shirlene once, for which I'm very happy to have done so, but I definitely saw the impact she had one you. From working with you for so many years, she brought out the good, humorous and other positive sides of you and chiseled away the rough edges. You were there with her through the joyful times you two shared, but more importantly though the very painful and difficult times too.
Myself and others here at work continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers and will be here if/when you need us for anything at all - be it a shoulder to cry on or maybe just an ear to listen and talk or even a mask-wearing hug, we are here!

I am very sorry to hear of Shirlene's passing. I know Shirlene from the Temple Animal Shelter. She was always a joy to visit with and boy did she love getting to know the dogs and helping them find new homes. Her friendly smile will be dearly missed.

Shirlene,
You will be missed...your laughter, your humor, that smile! Glad you and Robert found each after all these years. You are out of pain and get to put your arms around your son again, for that I'm grateful. Your two-legged and four-legged friends will miss you dearly.

Robert,
I pray for your comfort and strength.

Love,
Sharon Albany

Shirlene, we were introduced by our mutual friend, Sweena.
After getting to know you, and the trials and tribulations you had to go through, I could only admire your inner strength. But if that was not enough there was more added to your plate. You took everything that was dealt to you with grace and dignity. I am saddened by your passing but find solice in knowing that your suffering has ended.
My sincere ccondolences to Robert.

My beautiful friend. I am so grateful for all our years of friendship, you were my first friend in Texas beginning in the 5th grade in Mrs. Chandler’s class. We then became friends with Sherrie and called ourselves “ The 3 S’s” how original were we 😉. We’ve maintained our friendship, our love and respect for on another throughout all these years, this is something I will treasure forever. I am forever grateful for the time Sherrie came down 2 years ago and we all picked up right where we left off and had so much fun reminiscing and again, we made amazing memories. Thank you Robert and Sherrie for making that happen I know that made Shirlene so happy.

You my friend have gone through more than any single individual should have to go through but you did with so much strength and dignity and I’ve always commended the character in which you did so, absolutely amazing, a role model to us all.

I love and miss you terribly Shirlene but I find strength and comfort in knowing that you are no longer suffering and you are with your Duke, I can only imagine that reunion.

LYLAS always and forever...
