Suzanna Garcia

Ms. Garcia passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in a local nursing facility.

Suzanna was born November 23, 1950 in King’s Daughters Hospital in Temple to Jose Pedro and Evangeline San Miguel Garcia.

Suzanna received a bachelor’s degree in Art from UMHM and attended Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN. She was employed with HEB during her college years and has also worked as an art teacher for Killeen, Robinson and Waco ISD’s.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, David Garcia.

Survivors include a son, James Whiteis of Harker Heights; mother, Evangeline Garcia of Temple; brother, Ted (Alice) Garcia of Temple; two sisters, Rachel (Mike) Kidd of Killeen and Cynthia Garcia of Temple; two grandsons, Jackson and Ian Whiteis, both of Harker Heights; and several nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 10 am to 11:30 am Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
