Barbara York

Barbara Ann Hartman York, 62 of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday February 2, 2014 in Union Hospital. She was born February 16, 1951 in Terre Haute to Bobby and Margie Kuhn Hartman. Barbara was very involved with her family; often times being more content to stay at home with them than take a vacation. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and loved them dearly. Most of all, she was a good mother, grandmother, and wife.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Jerry Hartman, and one grandson; Devon York. She is survived by her husband of 44 years; Terry York, one son; Kevin York and his girlfriend Vicki McGrew, one daughter; Tammy Allen and her husband Bruce, four grandchildren; Ernie Wycoff, Garth Trueblood, Richie Creasey, and Dustin Doss, two very special children; Whitney and Landon Wycoff, and a very special nephew; Ron Hartman. She is also survived by her very special dog Jake, as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held Thursday February 6, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute with Pastor Jared Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday.
