

Betty Ann Featherston, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Springhill Village. She was born on October 2, 1930, in Vigo County to Russell and Nellie (Tunnah) Davis. She married Clarence Featherston on December 23, 1950 and together they raised five children.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Brenda Featherston, Sandy Featherston, Karen Hatfield and son-in-law Danny, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Vanimee Burgess (Tim), Kristopher Haughee (Tammy), John Featherston, Cody Myrick (Shelby), Allan Haskett Jr., Brandon Haskett, Cherish Miller (Rob), Larry West Jr., Amber West (Ethan), Iane Hatfield (Jenny), J.T. Hatfield, and Tia Hatfield, all of Terre Haute; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Reese of Terre Haute, Opal Beach (Art) of Tennessee, and Norma Caves of Terre Haute; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence Featherston in 2012; daughters, Peggy Haskett and Donna Tarrh; granddaughter, Shamika Hatfield; brother, Asa Davis; brother-in-law, Robert Caves and sister-in-law, Shirley Davis.
Betty was a member of Cross Tabernacle Church. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 972 and React. She loved to play bingo. She will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 29 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.
