Beverly Ann Leonard

Beverly Ann Leonard, 78, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, September 14, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 10, 1934, in Terre Haute to Willis A. “Red” and Minnie M (Blueher) Hood. She married Robert Leon Leonard. Beverly worked as a receptionist at Cannon Inn for 17 years. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies of the Moose. Beverly was a 15 year breast cancer survivor. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beverly leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Vicki Roberts of Marshall, IL; Pamela Mitchener of Coatesville, Jeffrey Mathers of Seelyville, Kimberly Neibarger of Terre Haute, and Andrew Mathers of Terre Haute; fifteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, a son, Stanley Mathers, Jr., brothers, Willis A. Hood, Jr., and Alan R. Hood; and step-sisters, Mary Nichols and Louise Rawlings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home with Reverend Dennis Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
