Brenda L Wilkie

Brenda Lou Wilkie, 60 of Brazil, passed away on Tuesday, August 9 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was greeted in heaven by her beloved dog, Morris. She was born on March 28, 1951 in Terre haute to Alfred and Martha (Pruett) DisPennett Jr. She married Stephen Wilkie on November 28, 1988. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She collected piggy banks and was an avid reader.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 23 years, Stephen; her children, Thomas Hensley, Stevie Wilkie, Shannon Stairwalt, Amanda Hensley, Latisha Best, and Alisha Craft, all of Terre Haute; brother, Rex DisPennett of Ft Myers, FL, sister, Lynn Cottom of Terre Haute, twelve grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, August 15 from 10 to noon at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at noon, Monday, August 15 at the funeral home with Pastor Ray Leach officiating.
