Dawn was a Special Education Teacher’s Aide for over 35 years serving at Chauncey Rose and later Otter Creek Middle Schools.
Dawn is survived by her husband James Hamilton, son Jimi Hamilton Jr., son Clint Hamilton (TJ), daughter Jada Ellingsworth (Ryan), brothers Brent (Denna) and Audie (Cindy), 10 grandchildren, 7 bonus grandchildren, and 12 great-grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Mary Ruth Roberts, in-laws Richard and Maxine Hamilton, and Grandmother Margaret.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm at Mattox-Wood Funeral home. Service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11am at Mattox-Wood.
