

Elizabeth Mae Jenkins, 75, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Regional Hospital. She was born on October 17, 1939, in Terre Haute, to John Franklin and Lora M. (Glasgow) Osborn. She married Jerry Jenkins, Sr. on January 3, 1958.
Elizabeth loved to go mushroom hunting in the spring. She enjoyed nature and spending time outdoors. She was an avid bingo player.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Jerry Jenkins, Jr. and long-time companion Diane Bennett, Dale Jenkins and wife Melissa, and Carl Jenkins, all of Terre Haute; her companion Bill Williamson of Terre Haute; twelve grandchildren, Jerry Lee III, Velvet, Ashlee, Crystal, Heather, Elizabeth, Megan, Dawson, Zach, Lexi, Carlie, and Alex; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Glen Osborn of Terre Haute, Lois Hamer of Clinton, and Bobby Lake of Pinellas Park, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Ralph Jenkins; brothers, Fred Osborn, John Osborn, Harold Osborn, and Jimmy Gish; and an infant sister, Nancy Osborn.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 31 at Roselawn Memorial Park’s Chapel of Memories. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, at the Chapel with Pastor Barry Briley officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
