Etta "Kay" Stevenson

She was born on February, 26, 1939 to Michael Joseph Patercsak and Charlotte Bernadine (Ross) Carpenter.

Kay was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 1957. Kay was a devoted housewife and mother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Bob G. Stevenson; her daughter, Kim J. Stevenson; and her son. Kay is also survived by her cousin, Terry Creasey (Shirley); her half-sister, Lynn Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.

Kay loved to spend her time doing crafts, painting, and tending to her flower garden. Kay and her husband, Bob loved to travel. They were snowbirds in Florida and Texas for many years. Kay loved the ocean, seafood, and collecting seashells. Her favorite place to travel was Hawaii.

She is preceded in death her parents, her brother, Jack Patercsak and her half-brother, Gary Carpenter.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to The Gibson Center for Hospice Care or American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 11-1pm. Service will begin at 1pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Kay will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park.
