Gene served in Korea with Army 204 BTRY.
He loved to fish, hunt, play cards, and travel. He was a member of Valley Field & Stream American, Legion Post 104 and V.F.W.
He is preceded in death by daughter: Debra Jo Adams, parents: Roy and Erma Adams, a sister: Delores Huckleberry, and a grandson: Jessie Johnston.
Surviving is wife D. Joann Adams, son: Keith (Janice) Adams, granddaughter: Debra A. Adams, grandson: Jr (Andrea) Johnston and family, and Brian Johnston, sister: Sherri (Russ) Church and family.
Thanks to the staff at Signature Nursing Home and Hospice for their care and kindness.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
