Kay was born on September 29, 1942 in Terre Haute, IN to John E. Smith and Rosemary (Klein) Smith.
She is survived by: Curt (Lori) Carpenter, Karen (John) Curry, Harriet (Bill) Gatti, Fred Carpenter, Robin (Carpenter) Baker, Debbie (Jim) Tolley, Vincent (Kelly) Povazsay, Roxanne (Joe) Faircloth, Jay Povazsay, Fred Carpenter, Robin Carpenter, many grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.
Kay was preceded in death by Gerard Povazsay (Husband), Robert Thomas Carpenter, John and Rosemary Smith (parents).
She will be missed every day.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A funeral ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.
