She attended Gerstmeyer High School in Terre Haute.
JoEtta retired as a check processor from the Federal Reserve Bank in Indianapolis, IN after 35 years of service.
She was a kind and generous woman, often spoiling nieces and nephews as if they were her children. She loved attending the Covered Bridge Festival each year, but her true passion was shopping. JoEtta brought new meaning to the phrase “shop ‘til you drop.” She shopped for others as she found the most joy in giving.
Surviving is a sister-in-law, Patricia Webster Smith (Gary), 3 nieces, Brenda (Rick) Nevins, Cherie Croft (Doug), Nicole McGuire (Ryan), and 1 nephew, Brian Webster, several great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
JoEtta was preceded in death by her parents; a special cat, Holly Blackberry Kitty; and brother, Lonnie Webster.
A small graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Rosedale, IN at Rosedale Cemetery, with Bill Herb officiating.
JoEtta’s family want all to remember her as a kind, generous, cat-loving woman who would do anything for family and friends. No flowers are necessary. If you wish to honor JoEtta’s memory, please consider making a donation to your local humane society.
