Jonathan Andrew Drisko

Jonathan Andrew Drisko, 54, of Knightsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 21, 1965 in LaPorte, Indiana to James J. Drisko, Sr. and Linda Gaye (Zellers) Julius. He married Lori Roads on November 24, 1984.
Jonathan is survived by his devoted wife of over 35 years, Lori Drisko of Knightsville; daughters, Heather Hicks and hudband Joe of Brazil, Elizabeth Drisko and fiancé Tyler Gehring of West Lafayette, and Andrea Roell and husband Matt of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Maraya Doll, Andrew Drisko, Nicholas Hicks, and Alex Roel; brother, Jim Drisko, Jr, of Cowan, TN; his mother; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his in-laws, Ralph and Ruth Roads.
Jonathan graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 1984. He served as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army from 1985 to 1996. He recently retired with the rank of Senior Officer Specialist from the Federal Penitentiary and was a member of AFGE Local 720.
A man who loved his family more than anything, Jonathan always made sure his girls were taken care of. His family was his priority and he truly enjoyed being a husband, father, and grandfather. He looked forward to family vacations. Jonathan also liked to ride motorcycles. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home with Rev. Tony Raley officiating. The Driskos would like to thank Jonathan’s family of coworkers at the federal prison for everything they did during his extended illness.
