Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Don Peabody; their four children, Donnie (Kim) Peabody Jr., Debbie (Chris) Truran, David (Racheal) Peabody, and Deanna (Robert) Yowell, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Devin (Danielle), Garrett (Ashley), Madison (Nathan), Brittany (Branden), Allyson (J.T.), Esabella, Jayde (Jake), Jacob, Mallory, and Wesley; great-grandchildren, Bralynn, Presley, Cannon, Jovie, Madison, Brantley, Paisley, Gentry, Aiden, Paxton, and Archer; brother, Bob (Linda) Wheeler; niece, Christine (Dave) Hunt; nephews, Kent Walstrom, Scott Walstrom, and Brian Walstrom; great-nephew, Joe Hunt; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Walstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents. Judy was a member of St. Joseph Univeristy Parish. For many years, she owned and operated TLC Daycare. Her warm, nurturing personality made her an excellent caregiver and she raised many kids, instilling positive values and traits in them just like they were her own. She was fondly known as Grammy to her grandchildren and their friends. Judy enjoyed scrapbooking and cross stitching. She was a wonderful cook and liked preparing meals for family and friends. Never one to miss a thing, Judy liked to keep up on the news, whether it was the latest scoop in the neighborhood or the news on television. She enjoyed visiting with others and had a genuine interest in what they had to say. Most of all, her greatest achievement and biggest joy was her family. She loved them dearly and always made sure that they knew how much she cared. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 11 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Barnes officiating. Judy will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church Food Pantry, 846 S. 9th Street, Clinton, IN 47842 because Grammy always wanted to make sure that everyone was fed. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
