Katherine Russell

Katherine Marie (Hall) Russell, 98, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019, at Signature Healthcare, with her family by her side. She was born on September 2, 1920, in Bedford, Ind., to Claude and Arless (Fisher) Hall. She loved to play bingo and travel. Katherine is survived by her children, Wayne Melvin Kirkman, Jr., and wife Mary Jane, and Cheryl Bland-Rigsby; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne M. Kirkman, Sr.; husband, Lawrence Russell; daughter, Judy Frerichs; and grandson, James Frerichs. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
