

Larry Edward Hamm, 68, of Brazil, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville. He was born on November 8, 1946, in Greencastle, to Eugene and Wilma (Stone) Hamm. Larry served in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger and Green Beret. He fought in the Vietnam War and did two tours of duty.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and camp. He enjoyed going out on his bass boat whenever he got the chance. Larry enjoyed gardening and was an avid Colts fan. He especially loved being a grandpa and doted on his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his only daughter and the light of his life, Lani Hamm and husband Wayne Wyrick of Brazil; grandchildren, Zach Bailey, Brandee Burris, and Lauren Wyrick, all of Brazil; brothers, Ron Hamm, Stan Hamm, and Les Hamm and wife Carla, all of Terre Haute; sisters, Joyce Warner-Stone and Becky Hamm, both of Indianapolis; and nieces and nephews, Ryan Hamm, Brandon Hamm, Crystal Cox, Jason Hamm, Stan Hamm, Chad Ramsey, Eric Ramsey, and Jennifer Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Rebecca Wyrick, and a sister, Eugena “Gena” Hamm.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
