She was born on March 6, 1937 in Terre Haute to George Porter Ketchem and Irene Pearl Wetnight Ketchem.
Margaret was a graduate of Union Hospital Nursing Program, and was a Registered Nurse at Union Hospital, Dr. Crockett's practice and the VNA at Union Hospital.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Ron Mahurin; three children, Doug (Diana) Mahurin, David (Patricia) Mahurin, and Laura Mahutchin; a sister Judith A. Roberts; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one more on the way.
Margaret was a former member of the O.E.S. and had a love of Quilting and sewing, making clothes for children and Prayer Shawls.
In keeping with Margaret's wishes a Celebration of Life will be private, with inurnment in Summit Lawn Cemetery.
