Mary Margaret Highsmith

Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of the Terre Haute Moose Chapter 336 and Post 346. Mary enjoyed singing and loved karaoke. She enjoyed painting and going to the Casino. Mary loved to travel, her and her late husband, Ralph loved going to Branson, Missouri.

On April 10, 1955, Mary married Ralph Highsmith. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2000.

Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Corneilla McFarland, a son, Lee Highsmith and her brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by her children, Ed (Alan) Highsmith-Daub and Renee Highsmith; grandchildren: Bradlee (Cassie) Highsmith, Letitia Highsmith (Troy), Alona Coffman (Ryan) and Lance Weir (Ashley); great grandchildren: Camden Highsmith, Kenli Highsmith, Eli Highsmith, Evie Highsmith, Bensen Highsmith-Freed, Leriah Highsmith-Freed, Alexis Coffman, Addisyn Coffman and Lucas Coffman; a sister, Carolyn Thompson; a special niece/caregiver, Lori Thompson and lots of nieces and nephews.

Services for Mary will be on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 2:30pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from noon until service time. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
