Nancy B. Albin, 82 formerly of Terre Haute passed away on January 19, 2023 in Clark, NJ. Born in Hillsdale on August 5, 1940 to Violet and Delbert Sykes formerly of Clinton.
Nancy retired from a long employment at Roots Department Store, had an immense love for her dogs particularly Gretchen & Greta, enjoyed baking with family particularly making Pumpkin Pies and holiday cookies and a passion, demonstrated by years of dedicated service, as a choir member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church while serving meals to those less fortunate at various locations.
She is preceded in death by her parents Violet and Delbert Sykes, husband James D. Albin, daughter Brenda Albin-Jasmin, brothers James and Dick Sykes, and Grandson Donald.
Nancy is survived by her son Steven and daughter in-law Donna of Clark, NJ. Grandchildren Nick, Antonio, Alyssa, Jessica, Gianna, Zachary and Great Grandchildren Kayla, Aria and Alessio, sister-in-law Sarah and Anne Sykes including many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 26 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 27 with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at Maple Avenue United Methodist Church. Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband in Roselawn Memorial Park's Chapel of Memories.
