Norman Ray Shaw

Norman was a retired Boilermaker and worked for Local 374. He was a 1961 graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Sprint car racing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include sons Jerry Shaw and friend Kathy Christie of Terre Haute, Larry Shaw and wife Becky of Cory, Terry Shaw and wife Angela of Lewis, and Todd Stemm and wife Micah of Brazil; daughters Amy Shaw of Cory and Stacy Witham and husband Chad of Martinsville; brothers Fred Shaw and wife Betty of Terre Haute, William Shaw of Florida, and Danny Shaw and wife Kathy of Lewis; sisters June Rose Jones and husband Edward of Brazil, Mary Jane Smithhart and husband Melvin of Brazil, and Phyllis Bashaw of Brazil; grandchildren Casey Shaw, April Cash, Cody Shaw, Katelyn Shaw, Sarah Shaw, Brodie Shaw, Aiyanna Witham, and Chayton Witham; and special friends Bob and Marlene Herrington of Dennison, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert, James, Richard, Charles, and Jerry Shaw and sisters Barbara Hoffman and Maxine Cobb.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. There will be no funeral services. Cremation has been scheduled. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
