She married William J. Carrithers on August 7, 1954, and together they raised five children. Pauline was a homemaker for most of her life. She also worked at Columbia Records for 15 years after raising her children.
She was a member of the Sulphur Springs Church of Christ. In her spare time, she loved to bake, read, and work cross word puzzles. She also liked to fish and travel with her husband Bill.
Pauline is survived by her children: Kathy Carrithers Whitesell, Jerry Carrithers (Linda), Debra Yeargin (Arthur), Malcolm D. Carrithers; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Carrithers, son Robert M. Carrithers, and daughter-in-law Karen Carrithers.
Per her wishes cremation has been chosen.
