Peggy Lynn Summers

She graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1968. She was the Cafeteria Manager at Lost Creek Elementary School. She was an active member of the Vigo County Art Guild. In her free time, she loved to crochet various items for hospice, church, and family. She was an avid sports fan. She was also a member of The Life Center Church. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Danny Erwin; and many aunts and uncles.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jim Summers; her son, Rev. Joe (Crystal) Summers; her daughter, Alison (Kevin) Dykes; her grandchildren, Cameron (Kristen) Summers, Caitlyn Summers, Alex Dykes, Audrey Dykes; her brother, Larry (Fran) Erwin; her niece, Karen (Ben) Pyatt; her nephew, Adam Erwin and their families.

Visitation will be at Roselawn Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home at 11:00am with Pastor Tim Minks officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
