Phyllis is survived by her children, Debra Johnson and Christopher Mills; grandchildren, Quinten, Eli, Stephan, Ryan, Tracy, Tamara, Ciara, and Hadley; eight great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and her best friend of over 40 years, Margaret Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Lloyd E. Mills and her grandson, Zachary Mills.
Phyllis was a dedicated nurse and worked as the night supervisor at Union Hospital for over 30 years. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet. Phyllis and Lloyd enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, and travelling in their RV together. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
