He was born September 10th, 1940 in Vigo County to Fred Jr. & Vivian Scarbrough.
He retired from Frito Lay. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, nascar, & basketball.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years Delores I. Scarbrough (Long-Hall), Brothers Jack & Pat Scarbrough, Bob & Jill Scarbrough, Sister Laray & Roy Danner, Children-Regina Lee Scarbrough of Sumter County Florida - Marsha Kay Robinson of Lake County Florida - Darla Dee Stroud of Lake County, Florida -Frederick Dean Scarbrough of Lake County – Gayle Lyn Vitto of Marion County, Florida. Step Children Dean & Marla Hall of Port St. John, Florida – Janis Keith of Port St. John, Florida – Rick & Monica Vicars of Grand Rivers, Kentucky. Several Grand & Great Grand Children, Nieces, & Nephews. He was preceded in Death by his Parents, Step Daughter Cathy Hall & Sister In-law Pat Scarbrough.
Cremation will be in Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Terre Haute at a later date, with inurnment at RoseLawn Cemetery.
