Robert "Dan" Daniel Bailey

Robert (“Dan”) Daniel Bailey, age 70, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on May 16, 2024 in Terre Haute, IN. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, retired Pipefitter with Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157, and avid enthusiast of all things that fly. He was born in Terre Haute, IN, to Robert Bailey and Catherine (“Cathy”) Bailey on March 4, 1954. Dan is survived by wife of 47 years Diana (Gardner) Bailey, who he married on August 28, 1976. Dan is also survived by sons JD (Amanda) Bailey and Josh (Christian) Bailey; grandchildren Brendan, Kellen, and Penelope; his mother Catherine (“Cathy”) Bailey; sisters Becky (Michael) Reynolds and Barbara (Dennis) Zupan; sister-in-law Michele (Michael) Soper; several nieces and nephews many friends, cousins, and loved ones. Preceded in death by his father Robert Eugene Bailey; his parents-in-law Jimmie and Helen Gardner. Funeral services will be held privately with close family. Interred in Roselawn Memorial Park.
