Sharon Rose Knott, 60, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Union Hospital. She was born on March 12, 1954, in Terre Haute, to William E. and Mina Rose (Shaw) Parr. Sharon worked for many years at Columbia Records, where she served as a Union Steward.
Sharon was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church. She was a hard worker. She had a delightful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Sharon cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Mina Rose Parr of Terre Haute; children, James Wharton, John Wharton (Shelby Stull), and Amber Knott, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Makayla Wharton and Christopher Dwyer, both of Terre Haute; and a brother Thomas E. Parr (Geraldine P. Parr) of Banning, CA.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a son, Mike Wharton.
