Shirley Ann Sobkowiak

We are sad to announce that our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother, Shirley Ann Sobkowiak has passed away and went to be with our Father in Heaven. She earned her angel wings on September 18th, 2025.

Shirley was born in Scottsdale , AZ on May 31st, 1944 to Ralph W. Olson and Avelena F. Guildermeister.

Shirley’s biggest accomplishment in her life was her family. She adored her children and all her grandchildren. She ran a successful ceramic business, SAS Ceramics, for many years. She also ran a paper delivery service for many years, both with her husband Denny. She loved to ride with her husband on his Honda Goldwing across the country. She had many hobbies, ceramics, jewelry designing, puzzles, painting and crocheting. She will be missed so very much by her family.

With some good detective work and many years of searching she discovered she had an entire family located in Oregon. She had a brother and sister and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She enjoyed spending time with them all.

She leaves behind 5 children, Robert E. Kutch Jr. (Sonja), Richard J. Kutch (Tracy), Melissa A. Kennedy (Daniel), Andrew M. Kutch, Melinda K. Bartley (Brian). One brother David Olson. 25 Grandchildren, Anastasia Trible, Rachel Thomas (Chad), Becky Ledden (Eric), Alicia S. Kutch, Richard J. Kutch II, Nicholas Kutch, Adam Joseph (Kacey), Matthew Joseph (Ashley), Jacob Kutch, Sarah M. Higgins, Jesse Tevlin (Heather), Desiree D. Conger (James), April D. Bergherm (Gage), Alex Edwards, Brandon Kutch, Tyler Kutch (Claire), Jessica Kutch, Margaret Kutch-Ledezma, Elizabeth Kutch-Ledezma, Cass Summers, Caitlin Armstrong (Shaun), Caleb Klatt, Allison Bergey (Ben), Autumn Bodie (Michael), Daniel Bartley (Marion). 55 Great Grandchildren, Isabella, Penelope, Chloe, Tristan, Mia, Aaron, Harry, Samuel, Jaiden, Brookelyn, Aaralyn, Levi, Kenna, Joecelyn, Oceanna, Abbigail, Cadance, Beatrix, Zeka, Leah, Luke, Raegan, Jude, Mason, Oliver, Zander, Oliver, Willow, Tommy, Caleb, Jordan, Ira-Nicole (Noah), Shelby, Trulie, Bryan, Isabel, Josh, Dalton (Evie), Shelby, Elizabeth (Tristen), Maddy (Jerry), Zane, George, Serenity, Hayden, Paizley, Bonnie, Aaryana, Myra, Gavin, James, Dallas, Ebany, Ivory, and Kennedy. 5 Great Great Grandchildren, Ariella, Avani, Nash, Makinna, Bentley, Lil Jerry, Aniyah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis Sobkowiak, her parents, Ralph Olson and Avelena Guildermeister, one son, Allen L. Kutch and daughter-in-law Viki Kutch, one daughter, Sandra Kutch, one Granddaughter Mandy Kutch, two brothers, Ralph Olson and James Haggard, two sisters, Naomi Haggard and Linda Chapel.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 23rd from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at Roselawn Memorial Park with procession to the grave site right after. Funeral Service will be live streamed on our Roselawn Facebook Page.
