

He was born on April 28, 1961, to Ralph Cooper and Emma Stevens, both of Brazil, IN.
Allen was preceded in death by both of his parents; his cousin, James “Jimmy” Cooper; his grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Harrington; his grandchildren, Keirstyn Taylor, Chayse Taylor, Broady Taylor, and Bailey Harrington; his loving soulmate, Kim Boone; his fur babies, Peanut and Sage; his sister, Theresa (David) Lawson; his aunts, Thelma Stevens, Edith Stevens, and Rose Pell; his uncles, Commodore (Dorothy) Cooper and Dale (Sharon) Cooper; his niece, Sara (John) Herrington; his nephews, David (Amy) Lawson and Jesse (Sarah) Lawson; his cousins, Bill (Trina) Archer, Billy Jo Howell, Doug Cooper, Steve (Christa) Ward, and Kathy (Fred) Crague; his best friend, Don (Jackie) Sutherlin; his bug, Lily Gum; and dear friends Ben (Marsha) Butler, Joyce Gardner, Jeff Archer, and many other family members and friends.
Devoted to his family and a steadfast friend, Allen was fiercely loyal to those he loved and cherished every moment spent in good company—whether reminiscing over old times, making new memories, or raising a can together. He had a genuine gift for bringing people together and spreading joy and laughter.
Allen loved cars and would drive anything with a motor. He loved racing of all kinds. He especially loved NASCAR and War in the Woods. He even competed at the club/amateur level in motocross. His favorite competitions included hare scrambles, enduros, and cross-country races, where he took home several local trophies.
He loved watching and rooting for his favorite football teams with friends and family, and in his youth he loved hunting and fishing.
Allen will be forever grateful to one of his three amigos, Bill Archer, and to Don Sutherlin for their loyal friendship through the years.
Service information for Allen is as follows: Memorial service is Thursday, March 26th from 5-6PM at The Church of the Living Christ located at 10495 N. County Road 200 E. Harmony, IN 47853.
Additionally, Kim Boone’s family will be holding an outdoor Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 28th at 5PM at 11085 N Engle St Rosedale, IN 47874
