Billy “Bill” Ralph Wesson 1926-2015 Our beloved father and grandfather, Billy Ralph Wesson, passed away peacefully in Dallas, Texas, on the afternoon of May 4, 2015. He was 88 years old and in his final hours, he was surrounded by loving family which we consider a tender mercy of the Lord. Bill was born in Hiram and raised in Kaufman County. He attended Terrell High School and joined the United States Navy where he served 28 years then retired a Lt Cmdr in Corpus Christi Texas. After retirement from the military, he served as a leader in hospital administration at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas and then retired from Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, as the Chief Administrator of the Radiology Department. His final retirement years were spent in the Dallas/Terrell area. Bill served faithfully is God, his family, his church and many others he built relationships with. It was his greatest joy to serve humbly and quietly giving all the credit to God. He believed that putting the Lord at the center of your life, everything else would fall in place as it should. He would always tell us, God had provided all of his needs and he had a wonderful life. He was humble, compassionate, and generous. He trusted the Lord and saw the best in everyone. His private victory and source of his confidence, guidance, wisdom and power to enjoy everyday life was from his morning times alone with the Lord before the rest of his day began. We are grateful for his unconditional love for his Lord and for us. We know that he is home and at peace rejoicing with our Heavenly Father and is reunited with those family and friends who have gone before him. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Enoch Presley Wesson, his mother, Iva Nell Wesson and his daughter, Linda Nell Wesson. He is survived by his sister, Edith Pierce and his children, Jerry, Leanne Vlk, JJ Villarreal, Dan Villarreal; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home in Terrell Texas. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Friday, May 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
