Nana Connie was a blessing to my son Josh and myself. Her door was always open no matter how early or late I had to work.  Sometimes Josh didn't want to come home.  Connie would say. Just leave him and we will see you tomorrow. She always had stories to share as well. Loved listening to them. She will truly be missed and no doubt loved by many. Family. Please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. May you find comfort and peace.....

We in Arizona were so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, grandmother, aunt and best friend. May all of you find comfort in remembering Connie for her passion in caring for others.

I remember Connie not only as babysitter when I was a baby but as a best friend, mentor, she like another grandmother to me and friend to mother Geneva Marie Usry Barnes. She was there to lend a hand to my mother. Connie gave me cutest nickname Kimmy Q. I remember going to the races with mama connie and papa john. I remember the high chair she had she put me in it and I still remember first taste of big red soda. We had so many great memories together. Love you very connie please hug papa john and mother Geneva.

lots of good memories made with connie ,  spent lots of time at her and John's house when i was a kid.. she always loved children....    she always loved my brother  John with all her heart.. now they are together again with all the rest of the family...

Rest peacefully sweet lady. You are very much loved and missed. My heart is saddened in one aspect because I will never hear your voice again. But, it is also a bit joyful because I know you, Uncle John and Bobbie are together again. Kiss my Granny for me. See you some day.
