Mr. Barnie "Mike" Freeman

Mr. Freeman was born August 13, 1949 in Texarkana,Arkansas. He graduated from Texas High in 1967 and received an Associate of Science in Electrical Technology degree from Texas A&M and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Technology from University of Texas. Mr. Freeman was a Master Carpenter and Electrician , was a member of Local 301 and was a Baptist. He owned and operated Freeman's Unpainted Furniture, Freeman's Custom Refinishing and Freeman's Third Party Service.

Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by Jimmy Hudson.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years Catherine Anthony Freeman of Texarkana,Texas , One son , Bradley Freeman of Texarkana,Texas and three daughters , Shannon Works of Texarkana,Texas, Jennifer Gannon of Texarkana,Texas and Katie Owens of Texarkana,Arkansas. He is also survived by one sister Sharon Hudson of Wake Village,Texas . Mr. Freeman is also survived by three grandchildren , Christina, Shelby and James and numerous other relatives.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2PM Monday , May 24th at East Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Rev. Julie Jeffus officiating.

The family will be at the family home on 103 County Road 2206, Texarkana,Texas.
